A small white dog interested in politics and some other dog things
I always default to the side in any conflict that is more pro-LGBT, Russia is aggressively anti-LGBT, Ukraine is inching its way toward greater rights particularly through this war, its clear who's side you should be on.
Queerness can be politicized, but it doesn't need to be alt-left-politicized. I can just as well point out that to be queer is to inherently be pro-NATO and pro-democracy and critique the US military for not having bombed Assad in 2014 and not bombing Russian soldiers in Ukraine now.

this is a very funny thing to post on a social media webbed site, that all we are actions, while not taking any action and just talking.
THERE IS NO "DEEP DOWN". it does not exist. nobody has a "deep down", so if you take ANYTHING from tonight, let it be that. NOBODY HAS A "DEEP DOWN".

people are their actions. we are what we do. that's what makes me a brother and you a performance.

idk how to say this in a way thats sensitive, so here goes, the very on-line mean girls for Maoism thing that really dominates the trans conversation is actually bad for trans rights and just bad for trans people.
Felt the need to share my journal entry today. Don't know why. Here it is, make of it what you will.

"When The President Does It, It's not Illegal"

there was a time when that line was so shocking it defined Richard Nixon for the rest of his life and still is the thing nearly every American can quote from the 37th President
LEAVITT: “They’re encouraging service members not to follow lawful orders!”

REPORTER: They’re talking about illegal orders.

LEAVITT: “Every order the president gives is lawful.”

soooooo Mamdani (or his spokesperson any ways) said a Synagogue doing an event with information about moving to Israel was "promote activities in violation of international law" 😒

uuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh soooooo um bacha bazi?
I thought it was strange that we almost went 24 hours without a new Mills scandal. That countdown has ended.

I think its the moral duty for LGBT people in countries where they have freedoms and free speech rights to criticize governments around the world that refuse or are taking away the rights of their Queer citizens

in unrelated news Graham Platner announced he's joining the Coast Guard....
U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The military service, which falls under the Department of Homeland Security, has drafted a new policy that classifies such items “potentially divisive.”

one of the shames of the whole "being Queer=being political radical" thing is pushing LGBT people to demonize politicians with the aesthetic and style most likely support Queer people, women, gay, trans, etc in favor of candidates who's aesthetic, style, and history, are most likely to say a slur.

you know I'm not big on the idea voting for politicians based on who you want to have a beer with, but that said Janet always seems like a good hang, unlike certain candidates who I feel like would get drunk and call me a slur.
Proud to join Maine’s hospitality leaders at the Hospitality Maine Summit this past Monday.

Our hospitality industry is an integral part of our economy – and I’m grateful to the hardworking folks who keep it strong, season after season.

I noticed President Biden moving a little gingerly today and I just think about our society's total phobia of aging is all about seeming old or being physically old,

I'm fine with a President who moves slowly and needs glasses, rather than one who's brains are leaking out of their ears...

here's the thing, I really find it hard to believe that if there was damning or embarrassing information about any Democrats that anyone has heard of, that it wouldn't have been released when the WH did that stupid phase 1 release with MAGA influencers
But here's the thing: why on earth would she want to with hod info pertaining to Dems? That's who Trump told her to investigate, so the logic doesn't scan. Unless... They actually don't have anything of substance on Dems and don't want us to know that, so they can keep telling the lies about them?

there are things that I think everyone should do at least once if they're able so they can understand the basic functions of the world, milk a cow, make your own butter or cheese, bake bread from scratch, grow something you eat, you don't have to do it all the time, but you should understand it

I just enacted the ritual of the Jewish Democrat, seeing a new candidate who's a long shot hope, checking their webpage to answer the question "are you even remotely normal about Israel and the Jews?"

I don't think George Conway has any hope in a Democratic Primary and its really poster brain, on his part, and everyone else's to think he's going anywhere

President Trump and New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani will meet at the White House on Friday, both sides confirmed tonight.
Trump and Mamdani to meet at the White House on Friday
Trump again referred to the democratic socialist as a "Communist" in his announcement of their meeting.

I hate when something becomes a political meme where people just believe it and repeat it no matter what the evidence says

mostly I don't get why people are acting like Chuck Schumer is the worst, it seems like a feedback loop of Schumer is the worst because he's the worst

This is a thing I remember every now and again, that Johnson didn't spend years working his way up to the tricky job of leader, but was just the guy House Republicans could all agree they didn't hate.
Johnson got so incredibly rolled here, just amazing rookie shit from a speaker of the house and why you don't elevate some random sycophantic back bencher who's never actually played house politics.

the Nazi's whole world view was about a race war with the Jews, everything they was informed by a racial ideology that centered that conflict with the Jews, the Nazis without antisemitism are no longer the Nazis.
Holocaust education that treats the Nazis as undirected in their murder doesn’t teach people the reality.

The Nazis considered the eradication of the Jews to be as central to their war effort as taking and holding ground. The Nazis thought Roma were barely human and not worth any consideration.

also no one made it a "breaking" news story, it was published hours and hours later even though it happened live.
I’ve been thinking and it’s kind of exceptional that not a single person said “Hey now” after the piggy comment.

Epstein was gleefully willing to share dirt with the press, which the press sat on to protect Trump, I'm glad someone was willing to use the information
November 19, 2025 at 8:39 PM
uhhhhh, you have some news you'd like to share with us Donny? about why 3 years would be long for you? hmmmm?
Trump: "We will be here for three and a quarter years. For the Trump, that's like an eternity. For somebody else that doesn't sound long."

HUGE development IN hearing for Comey selective prosecution motion, It turns out that the grand jury NEVER saw the operative indictment. Whole separate basis for dismissal. Standby for more.
