The ACA isn't just "health care for people who don't have a conventional employer." It also disallows something that was incredibly common 20 years ago, which I fear is getting lost to generational memory: insurance companies could deny you health care for essentially any previous health problem.
I'm dubious about Amazon's commitment to keeping pre-existing conditions a thing of the past.

What is the legal authority for ICE to say that valid IDs and passports are not sufficient vectors of identification and that they are allowed only to rely on databases that they have created with out any legal authority? This decision, my friends, seems to be a major question left to Congress?
The government has decided, with no basis other than feeding its new tech, that our biometrics are only IDs that count.

I have noticed an increase in coughing, sniffling, coughing, omg the deep and productive coughing on public transit in the last couple weeks and 😷 if you don’t usually mask, heartily recommend saving yourself when you fly/train/bus

Yes, we design roads that encourage and enable to go fast, which is they are often a candidate for speed cameras. We should redesign those roads. But also: DRIVERS HAVE AGENCY. You do not need to speed. You can drive safely. It is possible. Even if you're a tourist.
