It really says something about the breakdown of trust in official institutions over the past few years that the HK government has arrested a whole bunch of people including the directors of the construction company for manslaughter and the general mood is still “this is not real justice”

A reminder: 77-year-old Jimmy Lai has already spent more than 1,500 days behind bars; much of it in solitary confinement. Also, the "crimes" for which the British national's already been convicted include "lighting a candle and saying a prayer at a vigil to mark the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre".
