The one thing I think of a lot is taking the story of the Iliad and using the structure to write a version of Achilles that is Transfem. Also to deal my disappointment with reading Wrath Goddess Sing and the ending of Witch from Mercury

It’s the relinquishing of roles and expectations set during a scene, where the sub and dom can come down together in safety and trust, laying themselves bare in perhaps one of the most vulnerable moments of our lives.

How do you view aftercare.
Not just ‘oh it’s needed’

I am once again reminded of the multiple occasions where after doing a scene with someone they've sung my praises for doing literally any aftercare, which is apparently a massive upgrade over their previous kink partners. It always makes me kinda sad
