A small, cynical part of me wonders if much of the industrial enmity toward acting nepo babies as a concept, comes from those already quite wealthy young actors - and their parents - seeing those nepo babies get a leg up over THEM. I just don't feel like Kate Winslet or Timothy Spall's children are what's costing poor kids with acting talent their chance. They're missing out cos London rent is £3k so they're working doubles in Screwfix, while the kids of doctors and architects and executives and literal barons don't have to.
