And where reputable journalists and thinkers go, so do elected officials.

I’ve been getting asked lately about a more serious + systemic migration to Bluesky among electeds.

Idk the answer but it highlights how much of a breaking point misinfo & throttling has become for Twitter(& other platforms)
Bluesky is winning because both twitter and threads have gone out of their way to make their platforms inhospitable to reputable journalists and news. @kattenbarge.bsky.social reports:

I’d like to offer a hearty eff you to NYT Connections this morning, of which I only got purple, breaking a record-setting eleven day connections streak.

So long, Marjorie. You’re one of the worst people ever to have sat in the United States House of Representatives and wow is that saying something.

It’s also important to remember, I think, that Trump’s brain is absolutely mush.
I think the thing that Mamdani has here that other Dems don't is that he owes no loyalty to the old guard. A lot of Trump's mortal enemies actively tried to stop Mamdani. With a big smile, he beat the Dems that Trump hates and made them sad on TV. That's all Trump cares about.
Trump frickin' loves this guy lmao

When you accidentally universal healthcare

I have more respect for Clay Higgins being an absolute bananas nutball and voting no than I do for the folks who have spent the last year trying to keep this vote from happening and voting yes for political cover.
Bill to release the Epstein files passes the House 427 to 1
November 18, 2025 at 8:00 PM
While the odds of the DoJ actually releasing all the Epstein files even when ordered by Congress seem low, I do have faith that eventually the Wall Street Journal of all publications will find them and create an extremely inappropriate interactive multimedia web story.

To everyone posting excerpts from the Nuzzi book to dunk on her “bad” writing, “unethical practices,” and general “buffoonery…” thank you it is pretty funny.

The Aristocrats!
The attorney general and the FBI director, a manosphere podcaster bro, pulled into the situation room a member of Congress best known for getting kicked out of a Beetlejuice musical for drunkenly giving her date a handy, in order to pressure her about the president's child sex trafficking scandal.

Turns out tanking the economy, using secret police to round up families, sending the troops into American cities, and firing tens of thousands of public employees is not super popular, huh.
