Yesterday the UK Government called 63 English councils undergoing local governnent reorganisation with elections next year to submit a request to postpone the election to 2027 by 15 January

You know this is a trite thing to say but the thing about this insane proscription that gets me is that even if you take the stance that damaging military equipment is in itself terrorism then i'm sorry but what about the violent mobs outside asylum accommodation

We might be withnessing the end of small localist parties in Thailand now as bigger Orange threat made Chartthaipattana moved to Bhumjaithai, Chart Pattana moved to Pheu Thai, and Eastern warlords abandoned their localist party revival plan

"European civilisation," btw, is an utterly meaningless phrase until the Schuman Declaration. No real Europe existed until then, that was the first time something like "Europe" was given meaningful political and therefore cultural form.
