That's the idea! Wrecking the biggest threat to autocratic domination.
It will take America *decades*—not merely years—to recover from what these robber barons did to us.

They destroyed our government, caused untold pain to the average American directly and indirectly, and used our money as their piggy bank.

And all of it *should* have been criminal.

You don’t get to pick. That’s the whole damn point of the rule of law.

The New Deal wasn’t built on a promise that there would be “no ceiling” for the richest Americans.

Quite the opposite, in fact. FDR knew its politics could only work if he singled out the rich as villains and knew that its policies could only work if the rich paid their fair share in taxes.

To make common cause with this Administration is to support an affirmatively white supremacist vision of this country. Period.

Every corporation.
Every Republican.
Every influencer.
Every Governor.
Every evangelical leader.
Every voter. Yes. Every voter.
Mark Kelly: "This president, when he says things like 'third world countries,' what is he really saying? I think what he's saying is he doesn't want brown people in our country. And that's disturbing. It's un-American."

Walz on Trump calling him the r-word: "We all know both as an educator & parent that using that term is just so damaging. It's hurtful. We have fought 3 decades to get this out of our schools. Kids know better. But this is what Donald Trump has done. He's normalized this type of hateful behavior."

Of course. The consumer should always be the last to know.
Lol, Zillow tried to rate the climate risks facing individual properties. The real estate industry *hated* it, precisely because it worked -- it made selling risky properties more difficult. So they rebelled & Zillow caved.

Don't look up!

The time to stop the Trump administration from dragging us into war with Venezuela is not after the bombs start falling. It’s right now.

If Congress doesn't do its job, we accept the role Trump is relegating us to:

Constitutional afterthought.

If we’re going to make post-Trump constitutional changes, I’d prefer something like this - drawing a bright line under certain executive limitations that were presumed to exist before Trump, separating the DOJ further from the president, limiting pardons, and killing unitary executive theory dead
I wrote my anti-Trump constitutional amendment. Honestly, a fun exercise

Remember the ringleader of prison torture at Abu Ghraib, Charles Graner? Was a corrections officer at a notorious prison in Pennsylvania where guards were repeatedly accused of abusing prisoners.
Sent to Abu Ghraib as a military prison guard.

AI has a few uses. This is not one of them. The problem is that those few uses has convinced half the world to throw money at a product in search of a solution. When the music stops playing, a lot of people will be left without chairs.

I thought Trump loved fascists. Turns out, he also loves criminals.
When this criminal was jailed, the judge told David Gentile and America: ‘This is a warning to would-be fraudsters that seeking to get rich by taking advantage of investors gets you only a one-way ticket to jail.’ I guess not

People are bad at imagining a world of the past.

A World, in which half of children died from now preventable diseases.

A world in which a third of the population could be wiped out by a pandemic.

There were hardly any anti-VAXers 40 years ago. Leadership, and social media are responsible.
