ICE is not broken. It's agents murdering people, taking trophies of victims, using illegal tactics, breaking laws, spreading terror, and leaving death cards are not isolated events, outliers, or accidents. ICE is operating exactly as intended.

Did you know? Nuremberg was chosen (over Berlin) for the war criminal trials because 1) the Nazis had held multiple rallies there from 1927 to 1938, 2) Hitler convened the Reichstag there to strip Jews of citizenship, and 3) it already had a large Palace of Justice with an adjoining prison.

My gosh. Alex Pretti was notifying neighbors that Trump and Vance's agents were chasing a family. A mob of agents then tackled him and broke his rib.
He thought he was going to die.
Then the very next week, he came back out to support his neighbors.
And a mob of agents killed him.

But when a random bishop from a random diocese issues a statement saying the US is starting to look like Nazi Germany, pay attention.

After executing Alex Pretti on Saturday, ICE has shifted to primarily targeting bus stops and elementary schools in my community this week. I cannot overstate how much of the ICE activity in my community is just targeting places where little kids are.
Video from this morning shows ICE agents deploying tear gas outside a Minneapolis preschool as parents shout, “This is a preschool! There’s kids here!”

If having a gun is enough to justify executing someone, this entire history of second amendment bullshit has been a waste of time. We don't have rights in this country; we have a myth of rights that if you're lucky will maybe keep you from being arbitrarily murdered or imprisoned
