Let me be frank. Canada has a hand to play in this situation.

Any of you that failed at something today: I am proud of you.

Anyone who hasn't isn't trying hard enough. I expected better of you.

Canada should have increased rates from China a long time ago. I bought something that came from China, mailed it to son in Canada, and the postage was more than the item cost. Maybe that's part of Canada Post's revenue problem? They deliver packages from China. Are they getting paid?

Is China experiencing deflation? I look at online prices that are higher than last year, even from China.

I'm not sure why. But it could be that Canada is increasing shipping rates from China, supposedly by 16% each year. Before it was quite cheap.

This global situation needs reflection. 🤔

There are bus services in cities around the world that use more Canadian clean tech than all of Canada does.
This is an awesome story but note how this is a European customer not a Canadian customer for Canadian technology. Also kudos to Ballard.

BUT, come on Canada let’s buy Canadian 🇨🇦 company innovation. We are notoriously bad at this. Let’s become notoriously good at it. It could be a game changer.
Powered by Canadian Ballard.
Canadian clean tech is lucky the world sees the importance and value of their products, because Canadian "greens" fight against them.

Take something old and make it new. Take something broken and fix it. Take something dirty and clean it.

Things get better when we make them better.

I'm shopping but also making and buying second hand. Sometimes stuff wears out. I am giving the gift of paying for some in-person classes this Christmas.

Definitely a departure from my usual spending habits.

It's funny how many things u can give that are more valuable & useful than store bought.

It's so hard to do Christmas shopping now that The Bay shut down. I have found myself at the dollarama, Superstore and Indigo so far. Just buying from Canada first. When it's available.

Amazon pays okay apparently and appears to be automating everything possible, but so far as I can tell it's just a bunch of warehouses.

I stopped shopping Amazon months ago over tariffs because of the owners issues with Canada.

Not sorry.

I see a lot of turkeys posted online today. Does that mean US American Thanksgiving is coming up? Or is Pete Hoekstra hosting another press conference?

🤣 What? His wife's name?
I was going to send Hoekstra an email of instances of US interference in Canada.

No contact for him on the embassy website.

And look at what's on the Gov't of 🇨🇦 website. Everyone else has an email for their embassy. Hoekstra has...his wife's name??

Guess he doesn't want to hear from us.

Some people are saying they spend $300 a month on food. That's obviously a lie. That's $60 a week. Even to get 1000 kilocalories a day in potatoes and apples you would spend more than that.

It is good to see people have a little less food price issues this year than last year in Canada.
