Let me be frank. Canada has a hand to play in this situation.

Any of you that failed at something today: I am proud of you.

Anyone who hasn't isn't trying hard enough. I expected better of you.

Some accounts that look like US government accounts but act like they are staffed by Goofy are claiming that 6 visas were revoked of people because of their online discussions about Charl1e K1rk.

I know they aren't Canadian people because Canadians don't even know who that guy was.

Canada also has world leading quantum computer companies.
Pair that with AI or any software and it would be groundbreaking.

AI is practically our Canadian brain child. Much of it was based on our research and our investments, and I hope we seize this day. 🫡 🇨🇦

The terrorists known as Hamas are releasing 20 of the hundreds of kidnapped civilians in Israel they have said are the last and for some reason our Prime Minister is attending despite Canada never supplying weapons and only supplying a very small amount of aid money.

Cancelling the Avro Arrow was bad.
What isn't mentioned is cancelling the Avro Arrow also cancelled the Orenda Iroquois jet engine project.
It was the most powerful engine at that time.
It was lighter and more powerful than the Pratt & Whitney engines used in the prototype.
You thought the Arrow

(forget the f-35, restart the avro arrow)

The numbers... I know, I know, nobody likes numbers, but here they are anyway.

I love numbers, charts, and relational information. Thanks for posting, Kevin!

During the 2024 USA presidential election, ∼⅓ of eligible voters voted tRump despite his reprehensible actions & imbecility since 2016 & ∼⅓ of eligible voters didn't think it was important enough to cast a vote & didn't vote. Only ∼⅓ of eligible voters tried to stop tRump. Rod Serling was prescient.

Good news!

“Canada's economy added 60,000 jobs in September, beating expectations with gains largely led by the tariff-vulnerable manufacturing sector, Statistics Canada said on Friday.”

It's our fault. We're too dum to see the potential in research that is accessible in our universities. We ignore people who scream that they have technical solutions rather than funding them. Then someone like Elon just funds them.

We need to be smart. We need to start being technically compotent.
graphenequeen.bsky.social
Canada actually had our parliament building and surrounding downtown occupied for a long time by large trucks filled with Albertans, and the same donors who funded that harassment of us appear to have funded Trump.

Soros didn't fund extremists to bother him. He is the bothering one.

Does Canada need any medical experts related to covid? Now's your chance, Canada!
profsecchi.bsky.social
Illegally firing the CDC experts while he gets the latest COVID vaccine is really beyond the pale.
Marie Antoinette level of vibes.

I really hope we avoid this Golden Dome thing in Canada. We really need to work on our economy and societal cohesiveness rather than babysitting the USA admin.

Imagine inviting this scenario into our nation-building projects right now. No thanks!

I understand, although I'm not sure that when they start struggling, they will care if we feel sympathy.

They are going to make everyone's life difficult as they hold on tighter to their ideals (as confused as they are) and look for a scapegoat + access to funds.

So the US current admin. might have crashed the stock market today, apparently...

Sometimes Canadians I listen to are mad that US Americans aren't stopping Trump from threatening us but many Canadians don't understand that our would be defenders are also in need of help as they are treated worse than even Canada is by this US administration.

It makes sense. Quatar is very rich and surrounded by enemies in its home country. They are largely dependent on the West for protection. We pay for it in 🪫 on occasion.

If I had to guess, perhaps Quatar is going to help Trump with something rather than the other way around.
graphenequeen.bsky.social
You'reright. Trump will usually push until he hits a wall... I think he's nice to us in Canada because the people are the wall. We are the USAs no. 1 foreign investor and trading partner (as much as he avoids that information)
