Reminder from CM @alexis4seattle.bsky.social that she represents and serves the entire city, even if other councilmembers with financial conflicts of interest would have to recuse themselves on votes regarding things like tenant protections in one of the most expensive cities in the country 🤔

Seriously though, all other public servants in our city must stick to a strong code of ethics. Councilmembers should NOT be able to vote in their own financial interests.
Not a single commenter supports rolling back ethics standards, because duh? 🤷🏻♂️
