Trump on NATO:

"The problem with NATO is that we'll be there for them 100% but I'm not sure that they'd be there for us, if we gave them the call".

We did get the call on 9/11. 26 NATO members sent troops to defend the US. Hundreds died doing so. It was the only time Article 5 has been activated.

"through it all, Congress does nothing — just frozen in a plush, upholstered paralysis where cowardice has become a lifestyle choice and silence pays better than spine"

"all of this stops tomorrow if Republicans decide they’re done being eunuchs in expensive suits"

It's not that hard, America.

America is getting exactly what it voted for. The rest of us weren’t asked and don’t want it, but we’re getting it anyway.

Would be amazing if European leaders would also start throwing out truth bombs like this. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Carney: "American hegemony in particular helped provide public goods, a stable financial system... this bargain no longer works. Let me be direct. We are in the midst of a rupture, not a transition... recently, great powers have begun using economic integration as a weapon. Tariffs as leverage ... "

Future generations will be just gobsmacked that people - including some supposedly pretty serious people - took Trump seriously. It's been obvious to any mildly observant person for over a decade that he's not playing with a full deck.

Nothing says “peace” like inviting a fellow war criminal who’s actively invading a sovereign nation to help solve another war.

The EU could end all of this if it leaked any information it has on the Epstein Files.

Just throwing that out there.

Mehdi nails it as usual. It's possible to loathe the viscious Iranian regime and its obvious murder of protesting citizens while at the same time decrying the disgusting attempts by Israel and the USA to use the unrest for their own ends - which are not to the future benefit of Iranians. #iran

It's not that hard folks. Putin ordered Trump to destroy the U.S. from the inside. And that is precisely what he is doing.

I’d venture that many of the ICE officers wearing masks now are the same people who fiercely opposed wearing them during a global pandemic.

Fun fact out the thousands of lawsuits that Trump has filed for as petty as someone saying he is worth less than re has reported as an example. Trump has never filed a libel or slander lawsuit against anyone who has called him a pedophile or rapist. Course discovery would release all Epstein files.

It's been well over three weeks since the deadline set by law and they still haven't fully released the Epstein files because withholding exculpatory evidence is clearly what you do when you're "innocent."

"She made him do it" strikes again. He's not concerned the murder will anger us; he's insisting that saying it was murder and the officer a murderer will anger them and then our fault if they lash out. "She made him do it" is the burdening of Democrats and the left for right-wing/Republican acts.
Homan: "We gotta stop the hateful rhetoric. Saying this officer is a murderer is dangerous. It's just ridiculous. It's gonna infuriate people more which means there's gonna be more incidents like this."

The escalating tensions between ordinary citizens and ICE officers - stoked by ICE’s heavy handed behaviour - is all part of the strategy. Mark my words, the US is on a path to martial law, intentionally so.
