The hive mind aliens in Triple Strike are peaceful and quite tolerant of other starfaring species.

On a less intellectual side, Sven and Alan have an age gap, but everyone, including Alan, forgets that Sven is older than him, because it's really not obvious by how they act 😅

The humor was outrageous, the worldbuilding was at once familiar and entirely outlandish (like, we've got magic fantasy elf fairy unicorn-land literally merging with our universe, where humanity has become overrun with cyberpunk-y space-faring mega-corps and has fled earth to live on one of jupiter's moons. there are giant mushroom forests and a weird trippy spirit realm. who DOES that?), the sapphic romance was so full of heart - but the NSFW content was also entirely crass and hilarious. The grandiose robed wizards were suitably grandiose, the capitalist hellscape was capitalist hellscape-ing, the nefarious ceo was def hitting all the evil villain marks, and the spaceships and spells alike were firing off so quickly that i could barely keep up. There was a magic phoenix motorbike who only communicates in emojis. The fight scenes made me feel like I was watching an anime. Everything about this book was done so, so sincerely, and yet it was all so fucking entertaining. I couldn't stop smiling while I was reading it. This was so great, and so funny, and so one-of-a-kind. (also quite NSFW in some parts, just as a warning haha) TL;DR think yurified John wick in space. With elves.

i sold 2 books this month and one was a paperback of CONSORT AND I to someone in germany!! 😱 it's so interesting to think about how far from home our stories can travel. especially as a physical copy! surreal.

The funniest thing about when/how Alan lost his virginity in TS is:
1) Colin has been in love with Alan since academy
2) Colin and Alan fake dated in the academy
3) Colin has to comfort Alan when things immediately Go Wrong the next day

He was the best of homies, he was the worst of homies. Colin!

I'm about to be busy with holiday stuff, so I think I just gotta pull the trigger and get these sent off to the printer, so I have cards as merch for some upcoming events...

Spoke to my source familiar with internal workings at Mastercard. The holiday call campaign re payment processor censorship is working, there is a lot of pressure being felt from your calls. This is resulting in increased response times at a core moment for Mastercard due to the holiday season

Alan's great-grandfather is arguably the most famous pirate in pyrean history, and the series starts because Alan has Tristan's sword. Tristan is still alive, but he gave his sabre to his granddaughter when he retired. After she died, Tristan went full hermit.

Alan prefers to keep his hair long enough to pull back in a ponytail. He'd keep it even longer if not for regulation reasons. Alan would deny caring, but he's 100% fussy about his appearance. Sven cuts his own hair if that's not obvious.
