One thing about my trauma that fucking bites is the intrusive memories. Some people get flashbacks, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Me? I get flashbanged with vivid ass memories randomly and/or super frequently. Lemme tell ya 3AM or 3PM, it sucks at ALL fuckin times 🤬

With the awful news from the last couple hours, this post from the political optimism subreddit helped to break through a bit of the despair fog. Repubs know this is political suicide, ICE's support is crumbling despite the budget increase, and there's a myriad of ways to fight back. Keep strong.

a reminder that "death of the author" is not a balm to assuage your guilt for engaging w/ media made by hateful people
it's a media theory that ignores author intent, preferring reader interpretation

The UK Supreme Court has unanimously decided that the definition of sex under the Equality Act 2010 refers solely to biological sex, and does not include people with a Gender Recognition Certificate.
