Of course, while scientists are developing new tools to protect people around the world from diseases like malaria, global health funds to deploy these are shrinking dramatically. Countries “will have to choose carefully", how to use the funds they have, says Fredros Okumu, a mosquito biologist.

And in August CDC decided to stop tracking Listeria via FoodNet. www.foodsafetynews.com/2025/08/cdc-...
6 people have died from a nationwide listeria outbreak.

31 babies have been hospitalized with botulism from contaminated baby formula.

Instead of firing crucial FDA employees & attacking the agency, Trump should be hiring more experts to crack down on these dangerous outbreaks.

Five years ago, we all applauded nurses, public health, and health care workers every evening for saving lives.

Today, the federal government does not consider these workers professional.

This says everything about the state of US health care.

If the Defense Department truly had to “threaten” a senator to get its way, that wouldn’t be a scandal it would be a five-alarm constitutional crisis that every newsroom in America would be screaming about. Instead, what do we get?

Brooke Rollins can't help but lie if she wants to stay in Trump's good graces.
The Trump administration inherited an economy that the Economist called "the envy of the world" in a cover story a week before the election and easily could've coasted on that success (again) but instead they set it on fire.

Note—every time a Federal judge rules against Trump, Trump claims "the judge is usurping the President's power."

That's a lie.

Judge's don't "usurp" POTUS's power—they enforce Constitutional & Congressional limits on power.

Wannabe kings don't like it, but that's how separation of powers works.

Congress, pay attention. We the People decide where our money goes — not the President. And we are demanding full support for Ukraine, with everything they need to win. Trump does not hold the power of the purse. The American people do. Act accordingly.

🧪CDC’s former statements on vaccines were based on science, not whims.
This is quite possibly the most damaging headline I think I’ve ever seen from the @nytimes.com

It’s not merely “CDC’s position,” it is established scientific fact

Portraying RFK Jr as a brave, swashbuckling maverick—out there challenging “scientific orthodoxy”—is astoundingly irresponsible
Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.

Note for Democratic politicians: you don't have to start your condemnations of ICE raids with "We all want to catch violent criminals, but..." Just say "These raids have nothing to do with catching criminals and everything to do with terrorizing innocent minority groups."
