Their response to the racism is to, as always, double down, and claim the anti racists/fascist are the problem. The worst dictatorships & their eventual atrocities are powered by making terror, violence, and evil an every day event so that fear overrides judgement. This must not be acceptable.

Beyond the pale stuff, in an era of beyond the pale stuff from Trump. Even when you can't think of it getting worse, he finds a way to be the worst human being. And he spawns more racists, who are more emboldened every day. America seems lost, but I hope not beyond saving.

While this man is certifiably nuts, there are literally millions who share his views and vote to support actions that create the environment for this level of hate to manifest itself.
A white man in Dillard, Oregon was arrested for stopping people on the freeway to demand at gunpoint that they tell him if they were citizens. He shot and missed one + attempted to get another in his truck to bring to police. Before his spree, he called local PD to complain about "foreign" people.
