In Australia, the response to a deadly and awful shooting is to promise to tighten gun laws.
In America the response is to send thoughts and prayers (if you're lucky).
But you won't get those from the president these days. More likely to get a tirade of hatred and blame.

WTF? ICE is arguing in court that US CITIZENS can be detained, handcuffed, and biometrically screened unless they can prove citizenship on the spot. And that a REAL ID isn't enough. This isn't border security.

I propose we all write to our members of Congress and ask that they pass a law to disqualify anyone with a felony conviction from running for the office of President of the United States.
