In the US the words “competitive pay” means your bills are competing with your groceries. It’s one or the other and it’s only getting worse going into 2026.

I’m starting to think all these excessive spam calls I keep getting are because the government is meddling in data and info they shouldn’t be meddling in. I know the FL DMV sells our info so I wouldn’t be shocked to be sold out by the federal government as well without consent.

I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.

In October 2024, the U.S. unemployment rate was 4.1 % and the inflation rate was 2.6 %. Now, unemployment is 4.4 %, inflation has risen to 3 %, and we’ve added $3 Trillion to the national debt. The “Golden Age” feels more like the “Broke-Ass Olden Age.”
