My crinkle cookies taste like Froot Loops and I think that’s pretty awesome. I ran out of lemons so I got creative. I need recipes without chocolate if anyone wants to swap cookie recipes 🤗

I traveled for work, and became a certified professional. I’m not a great test taker, so I’m proud of this accomplishment. Thankfully this certification lasts 3 years so I won’t have to do it again anytime soon 🤗

Hurricane Ian part 2. Those trees survived and are stronger than before. Only one banana tree made it, but she has quite the family now 3 years later. Nature saved us from nature, but I fear for future hurricanes with all the new neighborhoods and concrete instead of forests and mangroves.

On this day 3 years ago, I was recovering from Covid as hurricane Ian shifted south and a bad storm turned into a direct hit. We got lucky, but this area is still recovering and forever changed. FYI hurricanes are so long and my dumbass recorded it! There is a part two.

It’s amazing how a 12 hour roadtrip in the dead of night really brings out one’s best car concert. I also got to see sunrise so it was worth it.

Rosie’s mom keeps telling me calicos are extra spicy. I’ve haven’t seen that spice. We did build her catio furniture the first day we arrived, and she thanks us everytime we go sit outside. I guess we appeased the cat overlord to avoid the spice. Time for the zoomies! #Caturday

I don’t have cats, so I’m super excited to post Thorbert for #Caturday. I’ve known him since he was a kitten, and his need to knock cups off tables has gotten stronger with age. I always miss this guy when we go home.

I came for the peaches and they did not disappoint! Also grabbed some local honey 🍯 I’m going to miss this when I return home to FL 😩 The “I don’t wanna go home” vibe has never been so strong.

My friend’s foster kittens can now open doors. They managed to escape the nursery twice within a 20 minute conversation. They had the audacity to attempt a third escape while we MacGyvered a way to keep the door closed. The mischief is strong within these tiny chaos gremlins. #cats #kittens

Today I got to be a beekeeper, and hang out with a few thousand busy bees 🐝 Local honey is the best honey! 🍯 Took us a year to get the apiary program started at work with 12 hives. It only took an hour to sell out the first batch of honey!
