I just took a ride with Uber, and my driver is from Venezuela. He spent the whole trip expressing concern that the same shift from democracy to dictatorship he saw in Venezuela is happening right now in the United States. He’s absolutely incredulous that Americans are allowing it to happen.

I have been told that this undercover ICE agent tried to get observers to scan a QR code “for his website”. The QR code did not resolve to a link.

Every day some story breaks me some. Today it’s the guy who approached parents at a school patrol, told them he was with Indivisible, and asked about how the patrol system works. The parents gave vague answers, followed him back to his car — and of course it was ICE.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but for the millionth time, Denmark has no control over Greenland. Denmark cannot decide what happens to Greenland. Denmark provides defense and a foreign policy framework, but only Greenland can legally decide what happens to Greenland.
