Apparently it’s a crime to remind military members to follow the law and refuse illegal orders (something that it is ingrained in basic) and the pentagon can recall you into the service to discipline you. However, the pentagon will not prosecute you for dodging the draft five times.

Once they do...
Ask for the unredacted copies.
Ask why only two arrests (Epstein & Maxwell )
Sex with a minor is statutory rape?
Or has that law been removed?

This is some authoritarian BS!

From November to May police will have the power to search anyone they please for “weapons” in Melbourne from Docklands to Richmond.

Victoria Police have far too much power and nowhere near enough oversight!

Chris Bowen was on fire.

Sussan Ley and the LNP history gives a lot of material for him to work with.

Who will ever forget the last decade+ of LNP government, starting with Tony Abbott in 2013. They were terrible years and should never be forgiven for harm and suffering they caused. #auspol

Last night @davidpocock.bsky.social and I read onto the Hansard an interview by the President of Nauru that the Albanese Government has been desperately trying to keep secret.

It shows Nauru plans to send refugees to places they fled. No wonder the secrecy.

theft was a crime.
To be caught lying,
embarrassed or shameful.

No more it seems!
Fulfill your dreams

and powerful.

This is how empires fall.
Without enforcing the law.
If citizens won't try
to join public outcry,
next step is a facist Lord!

Hollywood loves our trauma. Black actors are more likely to win awards when playing roles tied to slavery, servitude, or trauma.

Lupita Nyong’o opens up about what happened after her Oscar win. Hollywood kept offering her more parts as an enslaved woman, pushing the same stereotype again and again.

What a fucked up choice.
Give away important, resource rich land or get bombed some more!
Shouldn't other countries send much, much more military & humanitarian aid against such bullying?
Oh! ....Gaza?
Our politicians only help destroy now.

Australia doesn’t need another migration ‘debate’. We need leaders brave enough to tackle inequality for all | Giridharan Sivaraman
Taking the easy but misleading route of blaming migrants for economic insecurity only serves to stoke the already smouldering fires of racism Racism and economic insecurity can have a close relationship in this country. That is most apparent when Australia finds itself pulled into another so-called “debate” about migration. This is usually sparked by populism or attempts to blame complex issues like housing affordability on our annual migrant intake. Across the country, recent rallies and commentary are blaming migrants for a range of woes, from the cost of living to housing supply. Politicians from various sides made similar claims prior to the last federal election. We’re seeing a rise in far-right parties platformed on anti-immigration rhetoric and racism. This rhetoric feeds on genuine economic concerns but ignores the structural forces driving economic insecurity and undermines the right to dignity, security and equality for all. Continue reading...
