I love seeing the INCREDIBLE new books, but two things regularly baffle me:
1 - Why so much raving about books that let you run things with no prep? In what universe is being unprepared better than being prepared?

Supposed to start a new, light, open-ended, West Marches-style home D&D campaign today, but had to cancel due to the snow (no parking + we all had snow cleanup to do at our houses).
Seriously bummed, we can’t meet until January.
I’ll just have to keep tinkering with it.

Not a good movie, probably C- overall, but I kinda liked it.
Quiet forest vibes, then “woman alone in the woods being stalked”, slivers of cosmic horror, then a tone shift to slasher-ish action approaching horror comedy.
No real arcs or explanations, but I was entertained enough.
