Seeing a lot of developers saying this which is cool. The lesson from arc raiders is not that genAI helped make a successful game. It should be that genAI is a disappointing inclusion that holds back an otherwise fun game. That AI VO is ass.
We don’t use generative AI at Strange Scaffold and I can confirm that a *lot* of other studios are not—whether indie or AAA.

This was my issue with all of the protests around Trump getting elected. Just whining baby shit. When you protest you have to have real material demands otherwise it is just performance. You need to give politicians something they can act on. Trump got elected, that isn't something you can protest.

All politics form out of coalitions of people with different view points and there will always be compromise, but getting in bed with pro life, anti Trans, and pro genocide politicians is not the coalition I think we need to build. People support these issues and they will win if supported.
