apparently there is a really good thread somewhere on bluesky breaking down the johnny somali saga in Korea so I'll be brief: a super annoying American shock streamer desecrated a comfort women memorial and Koreans are now crowdfunding bail (+ rewards????) for anyone who punches him out in public

I wear a mask any time I go out, I don't eat indoors unless it's empty, I get vaxed every year and I've never had covid or gotten sick since before 2020. It's worth it!
Everyone keeps talking about building community and supporting each other in these hard times. There’s one very easy thing you can do right away to help others and it’s WEAR A MASK IN PUBLIC AGAIN (specifically respirators like N95). Covid is still here and H5N1 could be our next pandemic.
The CDC dropped this video on H5N1 today of all days. When absolutely no one is paying attention because we’re all in a state of despair after last night.
Highly doubt this is a coincidence.
The good news is - masks work against bird flu. Respirators especially. Not that they mention them… 🧵
