My mother told me once that the trouble with socialism is once it has worked (pulled people out of poverty) they turn their back on it. When people are comfortably off they (think) they don’t need it so much.
But there’s others who need you to help them:
Don’t be selfish, be a socialist.
I can’t stand Chris Mason.

Please could someone tell someone high up at the #BBC that he’s just rubbish and biased.

👇🏼Back in 2022 Farage called Truss’s budget “The best Conservative budget since 1986” as Financial Markets went into freefall

Today he calls Reeves budget👇🏼 “devastating” as the Financial Markets applaud it

So what does this tell us❓🤔

Farage knows less than F*ck All About Economics 🙄🤡🤡

I'm old enough to remember Labour suspending its own MPs who voted to scrap the two-child benefit cap ...

Precisely. I don’t think Labour wanted to do this.

Centrism is simply gathering popular bits from the left and the right and trying to merge them. 🤦‍♀️
Alongside many campaigners, the Green Party have absolutely dragged the Labour Government to finally end the child cap.

Labour politicians disgracefully defended it for far too long.

This shows why the Green Party membership rising and rising matters.

Gambling taxes are long overdue and an ethical way to raise revenue.

But while advertising and lobbying are so rampant, harms will continue until they are controlled. #Budget

No right to determine one's own gender
No right to privacy
No right to protest
No right to jury trial
No real transfer of power when a supposedly different party is elected

Does anyone recognise what this is yet?

How has this not been fully debunked in the public consciousness yet?
The very first thing the Prime Minister does is use the household budget metaphor.

A metaphor - this report into BBC coverage - said could be "easily misleading."

Why is the government trying to mislead the country?

800 years (just under) for trial by Jury.

Until Starmer's Labour got to power.

The choice between "spend money and improve the system" or "remove a citizens fundamental rights" seems to have been an easy one for them to make.
Trial by Jury has existed for over 800 years.

Until Starmer's Labour party made it to power, gave David Lammy more responsibility than he should have, and now it's on the verge of extinction.

If Lammy's changes pass, Reform will kill it off entirely.

We live in bleak times.

It’s especially ironic because the lecture is exactly about the ‘paralyzing cowardice’ of today’s elites.

About universities, corporations and media networks bending the knee to authoritarianism. /4
