Oh, then that would be spending your magic money to make the country as gay and accepting as possible!

Which would kinda rock.

LMAO - so this "amazing new technology: is gonna be used for ads, porn, surveillance, and giving the illusion of efficiency (so greedy bosses fire half of their employees), while burning the planet? It definitely makes sense that universities are pushing it into every ffing task 🫠 #ResistAI

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year
We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

Woah! So Labour's position really is, 'telling us off for breaching human rights undermines the case for human rights'? Proper Trumpian stuff from Labour's answer to Suella Braverman.

A trans Royal Mail worker who was bullied, harassed & assaulted by colleagues has just won a tribunal for sex discrimination.💕🏳️‍⚧️

Major bloody news, yet silence from BBC, ITV, Guardian etc.

If Forstater or Rowling got looked at by a trans person it’d be front page for weeks. The silence says it all.

Just remembered that, the so-called great raconteur Boris Johnson would probably fail this.

Listen to any speech of his and it's "ummms" and "errrrs" for most of it.
gledster.bsky.social
That's the 'great communicator' Boris Johnson being deported then.

Dude couldn't utter one sentence without umming and erring himself into a stupor.

Look, I can't lecture others for enjoying low brow entertainment. I literally own a copy of Van Helsing the game based on Van Helsing the hit movie. But if the limit of your creative imagination is "hit TV show, but with famous dead actress instead", I beg you to go and engage with some actual art.

This is just racism, segregation & discrimination.

Most English people don't understand the language to an A-level standard, have you seen most Facebook posts?!
gledster.bsky.social
Agreed, the press are generally terrible at covering this in its proper context.

The problems are long-term and Israel hasn't been sated, they haven't achieved their goals yet.

I can't imagine Palestine is going to be allowed to grow and thrive.

Sorry, what? There is no “race debate”. There is racism, there are racists.

This isn’t a legitimate political polemic, this is hate speech and hate crime.

Can we stop trying to wedge the bigotry of fragile white men in to public discourse? Doing so is hate-washing and we need to stop it.

This deserves more attention than it has received.

Gove: "we were too anxious as a government to secure those deals in order to show that Brexit was working".

Exactly as so many of us warned at the time, and as the government denied at the time.

Michael Gove has admitted for the first time that the Australia and New Zealand trade deals negotiated by the former Tory government did not protect Britain’s farmers.

A whole thread of responses and no love for Checkpoint? :-O (Though you did ask for 'a video', not a series I guess).

I adore Panalysts too, such a genius idea, but Checkpoint is so good. Thank you for all the work everyone puts into it.

This is the inevitable outcome of relentless anti-immigration political rhetoric and a media environment which disproportionately amplifies the voices of racists, giving the indication that they are the "voice of the public" rather than the minority they are.

I honestly think part of it is Trump doesn't care for foreign wars. He's simply not interested.

It's the chance to make $millions and the crushing of his opponents that gets him up in the morning.

Add in the possibility of being seen as a kinda saviour? Trump's in.

I know it’s the most obvious thing in the world but it’s really sad that so many people have absolutely no desires or dreams in life except to accumulate money and our entire world is becoming a fucking pit because of it

Again, I hate the dude, but I also hate what successive government's in this country have done and are doing to civil liberties legislation.
gledster.bsky.social
They didn't know that before they stopped him.

If you read the story, the Bentley stood out (Tommeh's own fault for buying the thing prick) so they stopped it.

The police don't have any specific evidence of wrong-doing so they're using anti-terror legislation to force potential self-incrimination
gledster.bsky.social
Here's the thing though, and I say this despising Tommeh & his movement, no-one should have to unlock anything so police can go on a fishing exposition.

This story makes clear they're stopping him on vibes. Which, whilst hilarious, shows they have no specific reason to search his phone.
