We are building a new local-first version of FacileThings, a personal productivity web & mobile application based on the Getting Things Done methodology (GTD).

It will be a super-fast, reactive, and responsive application that allows you to work offline.

Bots signing up with stolen/purchased emails in my app. When sending the confirmation email, the real owner of the email marks our email as spam (logically).

Why do people do this? Damaging the reputation is the only thing I can think of

Quiet Sunday building a file upload component.

I’m using the ReUI’s as a base. Do you know a better one that use Shadcn/TailwindCSS?

The new Automerge website is live!!

The biggest (smallest) surprise? How fun it was to build the demo!

Automerge is so robust, it withstood all our weird ideas — like using physics-driven particles to literally push changes between docs — and it just worked. Perfectly. Every time.

Working on the Lists option all day. Very happy with the execution, but not entirely happy with the design. Well, this is taking shape.

In the end, I decided to build two different editors, since the task description and the notes need different functions:

🔹Task description needs mentions, tags, inline commands, links, etc.
🔹Notes need the typical functions of a text editor (bold, headings, subheadings, lists, etc.)

Trying to make the Capture option as clean as possible.

Now I need to include options for adding notes, attaching files, and associating checklists without them getting in the way when not needed 🤔
