Working on the Lists option all day. Very happy with the execution, but not entirely happy with the design. Well, this is taking shape.

In the end, I decided to build two different editors, since the task description and the notes need different functions:

🔹Task description needs mentions, tags, inline commands, links, etc.
🔹Notes need the typical functions of a text editor (bold, headings, subheadings, lists, etc.)

Trying to make the Capture option as clean as possible.

Now I need to include options for adding notes, attaching files, and associating checklists without them getting in the way when not needed 🤔

It took me longer than expected to develop the task editor, but I'm pretty happy with the result.

It allows you to complete context tags and people names, use inline commands, and add emojis even when you're not using your phone. It also has a very accurate byte count 😅

In addition to dark mode, there's another tool that's becoming a must-have feature for any app: the search command.

It allows users to navigate to any section or to any data using the keyboard, without needing to know all the navigation options or where the data is.

One of the things we're paying close attention to in the new app is responsive design. It's not just about scaling the content size to different breakpoints, as mobile and touchscreen usage patterns completely change. In fact, our design for small screens is completely different from the rest.

The new FacileThings app will have mobile-first design and dark mode out of the box.
