Working on the Lists option all day. Very happy with the execution, but not entirely happy with the design. Well, this is taking shape.

In the end, I decided to build two different editors, since the task description and the notes need different functions:

🔹Task description needs mentions, tags, inline commands, links, etc.
🔹Notes need the typical functions of a text editor (bold, headings, subheadings, lists, etc.)

Trying to make the Capture option as clean as possible.

Now I need to include options for adding notes, attaching files, and associating checklists without them getting in the way when not needed 🤔

My cousin went to Japan on vacation and brought this back for me. I can't wait to savor it!

It took me longer than expected to develop the task editor, but I'm pretty happy with the result.

It allows you to complete context tags and people names, use inline commands, and add emojis even when you're not using your phone. It also has a very accurate byte count 😅

And 4⃣ Go to the Calendar list to see what tasks you have assigned for tomorrow and anticipate what time slots you’ll have available for the remaining tasks.

3⃣ Review the Engage stage panel and make sure that all completed tasks have been marked as done. Make sure that the most important short-term actions have the “focus” mark activated so that they’re always present in your upcoming decisions.

2⃣ Process your Inbox completely using the Clarify option. This option guides you through the GTD flowchart, helping you decide what to do with each item efficiently. During this process, you will add context tags related to each action, so that your context lists are automatically updated.

FacileThings is specifically designed to make GTD implementation easy, turning the shutdown ritual into a smooth and systematic process.

1⃣ Capture all your pending tasks and thoughts using the Capture option.

With the new app we're developing, we'll try to reduce friction and focus on the features users value most. 🚀

In addition to dark mode, there's another tool that's becoming a must-have feature for any app: the search command.

It allows users to navigate to any section or to any data using the keyboard, without needing to know all the navigation options or where the data is.

Working on it!

You know the Jobs To Be Done theory?

It basically says that when we buy a product, we essentially hire something to get a job done. If it does the job well, when we are confronted with the same job, we hire that same product again. 🧵

Although there are many services that do this, I've always developed all the pages and business logic related to user authentication myself. I don't want to rely on an external service to allow my users to access the application.

We've decided to use the extra space on the login/signup page to remind our users why they chose our tool. What do you think? Is it appropriate?

Project status. While we are in alpha I will periodically show a tracking table of the elements that need to be in place for the app to move into beta, a stage in which we’ll gradually open access to users who want to start using this new platform.

One of the things we're paying close attention to in the new app is responsive design. It's not just about scaling the content size to different breakpoints, as mobile and touchscreen usage patterns completely change. In fact, our design for small screens is completely different from the rest.

The Retention Curve is a very useful graph that allows you to see how users stop using an app over time. You can group the data by day, week, or month.

I'm pretty happy with how the list management component is turning out, with multiple filters, groups, customizable items...
