you can think people making jokes & having fun with kirk’s death are tasteless, degenerate, short sighted, etc. but whatever you think of it, one thing is absolutely true: they more than anyone else here are “continu[ing] his work.” he was a vile piece of shit who encouraged and celebrated violence
The best way to honor Charlie's memory is to continue his work: engage with each other, across ideology, through spirited discourse. In a democracy, ideas are tested through words and good-faith debate — never through violence.
