Last Thanksgiving, two Dallas Police officers knocked on my door, citing a tip from the FBI national threat operations center that I was beating my girlfriend. The incident report confirms this. Today, I obtained a file from the FBI via FOIA that states the FBI has no record of receiving such a tip.

ICE typically releases detention statistics on Fridays.
It's the first Friday since the end of the shutdown, but it appears that ICE has not uploaded a new file yet. We are approaching two months since the last update.
ICE removed the "we're not maintaining this website" banner that displayed at the top of the detention management page for the duration of the shutdown.

This is so troubling. The First Amendment is just words on paper unless we fight to uphold them. Part of this fight is helping student news outlets survive on independent platforms if administrators cut their funding and support as cover for the real agenda of silencing people.
