It's not great that a student can turn in a bad essay but vaguely point to the Bible and religious beliefs as an excuse for not following the actual assignment and terrible writing. That's not what college is supposed to be.

The professor did nothing wrong but she was pulled off the course anyways.

There's a trend in misinformation going around with an increase in detransitioner content being pushed, citing "Social Contagion" and using 2025's stats as "proof".

Whenever there's an increase in visibility, there's an increase in people transitioning.

Don't fall-for this obvious propaganda.

I don't post nearly enough, do i? Socializing was never my strong suite but, like a muscle, with the more practice the stronger I'll get. Which reminds me I should get back into my gym routine.

What the New York Times is hinting at but is afraid to say directly is that Trump and his reckless oligarch pals are steering us toward a worldwide economic depression.

you'd think the forced displacement of 10 million people from one of the oldest centres of civilisation in human history would get a little more news attention than beltway journalists writing essays on how Olivia Nuzzi is a genius because they want to bone her and you'd be wrong

DOGE was created for data theft and infrastructure dismantling and it wildly succeeded on both counts within the first few weeks of its existence. It will take a generation to rebuild what it destroyed and the breach of data is unprecedented.
Bye bye, “DOGE”.

It no longer exists as a “centralized entity”, according to the Office of Personnel Management.

I grew up on the Irish South Side, and have a buddy who for the last two months would almost compulsively start singing "Come Out ye Black and Tans" whenever he saw, heard or read about Border Patrol activity in Chicago.
Getting into the history of the IRA and British military occupation, in part because of the federal occupation in American cities right now. I also started listening to Irish folk songs about the IRA and I find the agitprop really effective.

These 20 House Democrats just joined Republicans in voting to fully repeal DC's police reform laws.

Wiping off the books critical laws on use of force, transparency, and preventing violent cops from getting rehired.

They think that they should have more say over DC police than the people of DC.
