The worst date I ever went on was with a guy who asked me what my favorite Bob Dylan album was (🙄). I managed to dredge up the name of an album, but right after I told him, he *turned around in his seat and joined the conversation of the group behind us.* He talked to them for TEN MINUTES

Was hit with a wave of nostalgia today for my OFMD Reddit days 🥲 I had such a good time over there, but since it's not set up to really forge 1:1 connections I don't know who was/is over there but is now here. So hi to all the 2022 OFMD Redditors out there.

This isn't fully developed but something about if you're in frequent contact with someone your emotional breakdown cycles sync up in a complimentary way so you can be strong for each other. But if you're only catching up occasionally you maybe are on the SAME cycle and just can only spiral together.

The extreme conversational whiplash between "how is your prediabetes, oh brother mine?" and "ha ha how about those pics of Trump performing oral sex [on Bill Clinton??] in the hands of the Russian government, right??" is absolute perfection, couldn't have scripted it better 10/10 no notes
