Just 6 years ago anti-vaxxers were a laughable fringe group. Now their victory is so total they're setting government policy. This is like if schools started teaching Flat Earth. A complete failure of education and science comms. Kids will die because we couldn't convince their parents of the truth.

It's gonna be awful for the rest of my life. And all cuz America just couldn't deal with a successful Black president earning his way into the house built by slaves.

The problem isn’t refugees on boats. The problem is oligarchs hoarding obscene amounts of wealth while most people fight to stay afloat.

Wages aren't tied to inflation, so the working class keeps falling behind no matter how hard they work.

New Mexico has issued a public health order that removes federal restrictions to COVID-19 vaccine access so that pharmacies in New Mexico can vaccinate people of all ages and risk profiles. Every state need to do this!

There's officially been more accountability for corporate extramarital affairs at Coldplay concerts than there's been for the sitting president covering up a massive sex trafficking operation that targeted children.

Not that being presidential has ever been his thing but “Thank you for your attention to this matter” is what you see on a handwritten note outside the restaurant bathroom telling you not to throw your tampons in the toilet.

Sorry to be that girl but the exploded ICE budget is gonna be the thing that stops our midterm elections, right?

I'd go a step further since I'm a believer we need a Project Rest of 2025 to get to 2026, WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW TO STOP IT? Brad Lander-style.
A litmus test for every Democratic Party primary for federal offices needs to be "how will you stop Trump's Gestapo?"

There is no reason at all that the next President can't run the DOGE playbook on ICE and that Democrats in Congress can't turn cuts into priority number 1.

Extremely dark that the entire U.S. government is lying down to be steamrolled by something called the Trump agenda for fear of some force called "Donald Trump" while the actual Donald Trump has no idea what's happening
Helluva @notusreports.bsky.social scoop showing that Trump has no idea what's in his budget bill. Seems like something that ought to get a lot more attention.

Also this: a republican house member actually admits that they are attacking medicaid. Yes, they are.

The complete failure of the media to understand and meet the moment has edged into absurdity. "Message of toughness" to describe the sort of gleeful sadism and fascism you'd hiss at during an exploitation movie. This is very obviously a human rights catastrophe.
President Trump is headed to a new immigrant detention center in Florida’s Everglades, dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz,” sending a message of toughness as public approval of his immigration policies declines.
