Wild- Trump’s guy Witkoff’s son using his brother’s death to praise Trump’s Venezuela invasion when in reality he died of OxyContin overdose from an American corporation (Purdue) and family (Sacklers)

Heartbreaking and humiliating.
As world leaders have become increasingly concerned about President Trump’s intentions with respect to Greenland, heads of government — such as the Prime Minister of Estonia — are expressing their solidarity with Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark.

NEWS: A source confirms DOJ has NOT provided Congress the legally required explanation for redactions in the Epstein file releases, despite a Jan. 3 statutory deadline under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act is a law, passed by Congress on November 19 with an overwhelming vote. Complying with it was not optional. The Department of Justice did not comply.

I want to make sure this is very clear.

Officials from top Wall Street firms will be traveling to Venezuela to investigate “investment prospects” of the country. “The trip will feature about 20 officials from the finance, energy and defense sectors.”

The truth in all of this is that oil companies have steered the United States into more wars, burned through more taxpayer money, and gotten more people and more Americans killed in the last 80 years than America’s worst enemies could possibly ever dream.
The idea that Trump-MAGA are "anti-interventionist" is based on a confused reading of their hatred of multilateralism and international law and institutions. I argued this during Iran bombing debate (h/t @zackbeauchamp.bsky.social and @nicholasgrossman.bsky.social):

The American people have learned that we are now “running” another country. A decision made without a vote, without a debate in Congress, without a plan. Done by a President who *told* us he would be a dictator.

If you can’t see the stakes, then you aren’t paying attention.

It’s hard to believe a president would time an illegal military attack to distract the public’s attention, but today is the statutory deadline for DOJ to release its report on the Epstein file production. Maybe it is just a coincidence.

U.S. military spending is set to hit a record $1 trillion.

Roughly half of defense spending goes to private contractors that routinely price-gouge the government.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon has failed EIGHT straight audits.

This is the military industrial complex on steroids.

I know America has often been the bad guy, especially in foreign policy, but it is terrifying to live in a truly rogue state, where the President lies to us and the world and does whatever he wants. We are fighting the Devil, and the Devil is inside the house.

Their messaging is so fucking incoherent. Maduro was an illegitimate leader who lost in 2024, which is why we're replacing him with his VP instead of the person who won in 2024. We did this to stop fentanyl, which is why he's indicted for cocaine.

We're also occupying Venezuela via Zoom call.

🇻🇪 Venezuela
🇮🇷 Iran
🇲🇽 Mexico
🇨🇴 Colombia
🇨🇺 Cuba

He’s out of control. He’s deranged. This is the opposite of what he promised America when he ran for president. He said he’d focus on *us*.

Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation.

I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.

Former Honduran President Hernandez was extradited, convicted and sentenced to 45 years of prison for exactly the type of crimes Maduro is accused of - and Trump pardoned him.
