I’m the notetaker at the TTRPG tables I’m involved with, and I’ve written most of our stories up and posted them online (with permission). Here’s a thread of links if you’re so inclined!
Bryn (gnome cleric of Oghma) was my first D&D character. It’s a trope that we work through trauma with our PCs, but she was the one I played as I was coming out to society as nonbinary while simultaneously leaving a controlling religious environment.

If I’m working at my desk & someone comes in and asks to see me, which of these will work best?

A) Jay, look up
B) Jay, look out
C) Jay, someone’s here to see you

If you chose A or B, you agree with my coworkers, who watched me look up at the ceiling, & then cover my head before trying option C.

I have fallen into Pie Discourse and I just have to say that I am probably an expert when it comes to apple pie. I am a third-generation apple pie-maker and I am the undisputed best of them all. There’s so much that can and does go wrong that most folks have probably only had mediocre apple pie

I know this poster is trolling. Disparaging one of the best pies (and my personal forte) and placing pecan (of all things!) at the top? Well, all this is certainly debatable, but this poster starts from the unfortunate position of being wrong.
Apple pie is bad. This is not really debatable. So is key lime pie, while we’re on the topic. Pecan pie is the 🐐 tho.

Books and baked goods, for sure
What are you made of?

1. tea & tenderness

It might not be Tuesday but we’re having plate tacos anyway

I could make supper. But then I would have to decide what to make, make it, eat it, and then clean up the mess I made when the kitchen has been clean since noonish.

So the $23 is worth it to me to order a pizza and garlic knots

oh no, my books held to their wobbly shelves with obsolete cables . . .
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

🎶 when I was a young boy, my father took me into the city to see a marching band. He said “son, when you grow up, would you be the savior of the broken, the beaten, and the damned?" He said, "Will you defeat them? Your demons, and all the non-believers, the plans that they have made?" 🎶
🎶Some kind of night into your darkness
Colors your eyes with what's not there

Faaaade into you
Strange you never knew

It’s pouring rain but I’ve got leftover stew and half a bottle of Shiraz and Murder She Wrote on the tv so I’m saying tonight’s a win for me

I enjoy whiskey but as I’m the only one in the house that partakes, my bottles last a while.

Disappointedly, I have just found out that Jameson no longer makes their Stout edition - apparently they stopped about a year ago, shortly after I bought my last bottle.

Anything similar out there?

I making a tomato-based beef and mushroom stew; it’s got about two more hours to go. In about thirty minutes I’m starting some bread to go with it, and I’ve got a bottle of Shiraz. Not too sure about the latter as I not a huge fan of red wine but even I know a moscato wouldn’t pair the best

Terry Pratchett helped give me the language to explain myself to myself ❤️

Has it been over thirty days since you last watched a film starring Nicolas Coppola? Nicolas Cage Gap.
Not enough casters in your DnD party?

Problematic mage gap.
Your thanksgiving stuffing doesn’t taste right?

Problematic sage gap.

it’s your office Thanksgiving party. Your wife bought you a new vest (it was on sale!) and you made an apple pie and you’re feeling good about yourself; this is what it looks like:

I’ve the feeling that I’m not careful I’m going to perpetuate the stereotype of trans people in information technology

hi, it’s me: the nonbinary person flirting (maybe? I’m ace, too) with things in the realm of information technology
