This is Waylon. He'd been in a shelter for 95 days when a woman came in with her son Cai. Cai asked so many great questions about how to keep him safe and healthy. When he returned to officially adopt Waylon, he arrived in a very dapper suit, saying it was a "special occasion." 14/10 for everybody

This may of interest to folks! The people involved include @kissane.bsky.social of The Covid Tracking Project (which was vital for so many of us when there was minimal information) and many others doing awesome things! Worth keeping an eye on and maybe volunteering if you have the bandwidth.
