This is getting lost: For weeks Trump officials had the option to remove Abrego Garcia to Costa Rica, but refused to do so. Instead they kept trying to send him somewhere more dangerous. Costa Rica wasn't cruel and dehumanizing enough.

When I learned about WWII as a kid I wondered how people could be so void of empathy & humanity to do what they did to millions of innocent people.
It didn't start as concentration or death camps. It began as "they don't belong here" with gov propaganda to normalize stripping people of citizenship.
