This is an interesting as heck thread and my take from it both as an adult educator and as a parent of a disabled child is a little bit agreement--a lot of adults don't want to engage!--and my kid, while at grade reading level, is in an intervention course. He gets assistance with essays but
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

one of the things about doing Thanksgiving at my inlaws which, while we have our problems, (like how they treat my autistic kid), they aren't republicans and won't be praising Trump. Trashing him more likely. None of them, not even extended fam. So thats one problem down.
