Badassing today - one kid got covid and flu shots this morning, two kids getting shots this afternoon, scheduled mine for Tuesday. Woooo! Wife already got both of hers and made and appt for the 15 year old next week. Go, herd immunity, go!

One thing I will not abide is the narrative that my spouse is a saint because her youngest is 5 1/2 years older than my oldest and she is a saint for being with me because she could’ve been kid free sooner. What about the fact that I am a great person and my kids are fantastic and not a burden?

Being a queer adult is finding out that my first serious girlfriend‘s parents passed away both within the past two months. Finding out because we’re still in touch when need be. Because we’re both good people. We weren’t right for each other. We’re not best friends, but definitely not enemies. 🌈
