No Covid infection is mild. We need layered mitigations because Covid vaccines were designed to reduce disease severity not necessarily prevent infection and any infection can cause long covid. Yet we are still being gaslighted on this!

I believe that every human life has an absolute value, and is worthy of being shielded from harm. That belief is reason enough for me to wear a respirator mask in all public spaces during the ongoing pandemic of Covid-19, to avoid being an enabler of illness and mortality.
