The Interview With the Vampire audiobook is so weird. They explicitly say in the book Louis is from New Orleans, there is dialogue about his New Orleans accent the narrator reads, yet he is for some reason doing a Bela Lugosi accent. He does this for all the vampires, in fact. It's very silly.
