Very annoying. He/him, or "you lazy bastard" depending upon who you ask
7 alarmist articles about ADHD in the guardian at weird o'clock over the past 10 days. They're doing to ADHDers what they already did to trans people.

It has much of the stench of Wes Streeting about it.

Trump: "We spend tremendous amounts of money with Nato, and I know we’ll come to their rescue but I really do question whether or not they’ll come to ours"

Only one country has ever invoked NATO Article 5, it was the day after you said that you now had the tallest building in lower Manhattan

Using a chin-up bar as a makeshift walking stick/zimmer frame, tottering around, bent over double, it is literally impossible not to say "found him you have, mmh"

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

I'm coming to the conclusion that Sturgeon's law was off by at least two orders of magnitude, and that in fact 99.9% of everything is trash, not 90%.

It gets much worse when you limit it to online only.

Apparently it's against The Guardian's community guidelines to point out that "Unite the right" was the slogan of a white supremacist rally in 2017, many of whom are now ICE agents running amok, and that Robert Jenrick is an utter prannock for using this phrasing.

Something's brewing with NHS ADHD services. My feeling is that Wes Streeting can't quite gage the public mood, so cynically exploiting it is on hold. But consent it actively being manufactured for limiting access, so if you've been considering it, I'd advise you to get yourself in the system ASAP.

Truly, Nigel Farage is an intellectual titan

Bear in mind that Starmer's motley crew of rakestanders only got in because almost everyone was voting to get the Tories out.

Diluting the Reform brand with dismal failures with name recognition who you have repeatedly slagged off

Nice work, dumbfuck

No! The criticism of the Dems isn't that they never win elections, it's that they don't use power to solve the problems that got us here. Elite impunity, concentration of wealth, the unitary executive. Winning is only step 1
New - Chuck Schumer to haters: “The answer to these critics is to win. If we win back the Senate, that will answer every question"

Peltola “was the last piece to the puzzle"

He says Dem path to Senate is Ohio, Alaska, Maine and NC. Dems are watching Texas/Iowa

Exclusive: Schumer lauds recruits as Democrats see Senate within reach
The minority leader took an Al Davis-style approach as he sat down with Semafor: “The answer to these critics is to win.”

"Good news!" says Starmer.

"I have been assured that X: The CSAM Generator App has changed to be compliant with UK laws therefore I don't need to devote a single neuronal activation further to it, certainly not in the forms of investigation or in holding demented, megarich malign forces to account"

Just read this "Dilbert" comic everyone's talking about; the protagonist - the only sensible character -is surrounded by those who are ignorant, hysterical, lazy, inept, corrupt or evil. The dog's cool and cynical like me though!

I'm sure that this is in no way reflective of the author's worldview

Cheerio to the Dilbert guy.
They say don't speak ill of the dead, so I will say this in his defence:
I read some of his comics 25 years ago

Calls for civility are often weaponized by abusers, by bigots, by those who would oppress you. If it is considered impolite to speak out against dishonor, then it is time for a true warrior to be rude.

Just had a wee revelation.

When he was working on his Difference Engine, Charles Babbage was asked twice: "Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?"

AI evangelists are are asking the exact same question, and are betting the entire economy on it
