I post about politics, hockey, baseball, football and things that are funny to me. Okay, sometimes other things, too.
Honestly, nothing going right for the #NJDevils. They are not helping themselves with poor shooting, poor shot selection and absolutely no puck luck.

Once stood behind Julia Roberts in a bodega on 12th and Park in NY and never said a thing.
Please quote this from the time you didn't interact with someone famous.

I was visiting with family in New Bedford, Massachusetts, at the same time that Mother Theresa was there visiting her Missionaries of Charity. The bishop held a Mass for her at the church where I was baptized. I didn't go.
Catching a train from Bristol Temple Meads, but they shifted the service along the platform because a scene from THE OUTLAWS was being shot where it would usually come in. The scene featured Christopher Walken and Stephen Merchant, but my train came before they shot it so I didn't see either of 'em.

I thought this was a real NY Times opinion piece.
Opinion | Why should the FBI care about catching the Brown shooter? It's not like he killed a healthcare CEO or a right-wing influencer.

I think Tracy Strahan on Today In New York has had a bit too much holiday spirit this morning. #todayinny.

Kelly: He runs around on stage talking about lethality and the warrior ethos.. That’s not the message that should be coming from the Secretary of Defense… He runs around on a stage like he’s a 12 year old playing army. It’s embarrassing.

That young woman who was a member of the National Guard is dead because of Trump. FULL STOP!

I base this on the same principle that Republicans did to blame Biden for what happened in Afghanistan and Hillary Clinton for the deaths in Benghazi.

I think you make a good point about RO/Andor, but I fundamentally disagree that "a movie should be judged in a vacuum of its own merits" when ... why would I watch the third episode of anything unless it's doing a good job courting the plot points of the first two?

I always hated this choice of music. It just didn't seem to fit - yeah, I get "Magic Carpet Ride" but the vibe of the song just didn't work for me.

Yeah, Schumer may not be the real problem but I fault him for not outing and shunning those Dems that voted with the Repubs to end the shutdown. Schumer's time as leader should be over with the next congress. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/11/o...

While I am angry at the few Dems that caved on the shutdown, I do feel that the issues that they were, overall, highlighting (ACA, SNAP, High Cost of Living) were clearly identified as problems the Repubs fully own. This could be a net positive, longterm. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/11/u...
