I think I must have one of the coolest jobs in the world. I feel very tender and protective towards this work, so I’m not talking about it a lot publicly yet, but I feel so lucky to be able to do what I’m doing. To feel I am making an impact is a welcome feeling in the world we live in.

great news: I am finally getting a disability parking placard! even better news: the process was so easy I feel like something has gone wrong because things are usually not at all easy when it comes to disability and chronic illness and the government but this… was?!

Alice Wong was one of the most effective people challenging the Whiteness of disability communities and its many flaws, but who believed fiercely in us as a community, in disabled people as oracles.
Alice brought so much to so many of us, it’s hard to measure the kind of gratitude I have for that.
