by “this shit” I mean the exhausting bullshit parts of online spaces. there are exhausting bullshit parts of offline spaces too but at least there I get to be annoyed at a guy (gender neutral) and feel like I’m still accomplishing something by being in community with them.

My sabbatical from the ttrpg space has me thinking about this a lot, tbh. Would love to hear more of your thoughts if you’re inclined to share.

This amazing, brilliant, talented group of co-creators helped me realize this artistic dream, and they also shaped it into something beyond what I ever could have dreamed of. I'm so grateful for that, and for this show we made. If you want to encounter our art, you can find it here:

I dreamed of this show for years before I was able to make it. I knew that I wanted to make art that was a commentary on the way disabled people are often treated in the horror genre, and that also claimed and re-claimed the ways that living in a disabled body can echo living in a haunted house.

So deserved, and not at all bonkers to anyone who knows you or the show. Congratulations!!

It also means a lot to me to have our work recognized at a moment in time when I am carefully considering how I want to move forward as an artist in this space. Grateful to everyone who has watched A Haunting, Beloved. Here’s to more disabled art being in the world!
