Nothing like asking career AUSAs who have been under assault for the last year, watched their colleagues get fired for no reason, and their offices taken over by incompetent boobs to volunteer their time to perpetuate a cover up of their boss's involvement w/a sex predator 🙃

Last year, Walgreens had a CEO-to-Worker pay gap of 410 to 1.

Corporate greed that would make even Scrooge blush.

The Olivia Nuzzi story and the Bari Weiss at CBS story are the same story, which is that the upper echelons of legacy media are absolutely rife with people who worship power and don't feel burdened by any sense of responsibility to their profession or the public.

Incredible. This morning on the BBC site story was titled "Puppy farm ban promised in plans to improve animal welfare" with puppy pic up top. Later changed to "Hen cages and pig crates face ban" and gives top focus to policy's opponents. The puppy/RSPCA angle is 20 paragraphs in, as "meanwhile". ~AA

In cases like this I always want to give the journalists / editors the benefit of the doubt, but honestly this is pretty brazen. I really worry that major news organisations in the UK are honing content to social media mores in incredibly damaging ways now, and don't even realise how damaging it is.
