Hypothesis: thinking George is the best Beatle is associated with being an anti-vaxer.
-thinks of oneself as a free-thinker outside the mainstream
-willing to believe things for which an argument can be made but the bulk of the evidence suggests otherwise

If this administration cares so much about fentanyl harming Americans, they must have a detailed plan for investing in drug treatment and prevention programs here. Now just to look that up…

JD Vance is an astonishingly throwback 1930s-style racist. Also, “Forced pregnancy often leads to infanticide” is certainly an interesting message for the pro-life community to be promoting.

The below post is true, and there is increasingly legislation to improve poor care and mistreatment during perinatal care and birth in CA (e.g. AB 2319, AB 55, SB 65). I’m curious if other states are also taking action to improve quality of care during delivery.
Please hear me when I say that

1) these anti-medical woo birth movements have been a primary feeder into anti-vaxx eugenic movements

2) they pre-date the age of social media

3) they exist because we have not addressed medical sexism and specifically obstetric violence
Influencers made millions pushing ‘wild’ births – now the Free Birth Society is linked to baby deaths around the world

If we had to hear “Baby Shark” everywhere we went for two whole months out of the year we’d throw a fit, right?

And rightfully so.

So tell me, why do we put up with it when the song is “Frosty the Snowman”?

I love how we have to sanewash the random thoughts of a guy whose sole goal is to destroy an Obama achievement, into a pseudo-health care policy which will only make health care worse for people. HSAs cannot cover large unexpected medical expenses, which is the whole point of insurance you dingbat.
Cassidy: "The president is proposing that we take the $26b that would be going to insurance companies if we just do an extension and give it directly to the American people in which 100% of the money is used for them to purchase healthcare on their own terms. That makes them an informed consumer."

This guy is an OB/GYN. He knows perfectly well that people could not afford a c-section (1/3 of births) let alone a NICU visit (10% of births) without insurance. I want to sit down with these people with some truth serum and ask what they actually want to see.

Maybe Trump will create a public option insurance plan since (a) getting rid of subsidies is untenable, (b) he doesn’t want to send money to the “blood sucking insurance companies,” and (c) he’s seizing percentages of companies right and left. Finally he’ll have a health care plan.
