Why can’t we live in a kinder, more respectful world? Call me naive, but I’m living in hope that it will all come good in the end. The baddies will get their comeuppance and the rest of us will ride off into the sunset. The End

And nor should it. Farage is a dangerous racist and yet is being fast tracked into No.10 on a ruinous populist agenda, funded by shady right wing money and malign foreign interests.
People must know who and what they are voting for. That’s the very lowest bar in a democracy.

Good. Let’s not let it go away. This man wants to be Britain’s next PM. His denials and obfuscations around his long history of repulsive behaviour show that he is utterly unfit.

The Deep State is a conspiracy theory.

I know we all find Truss amusing, but I find it deeply concerning that you've got an actual former Prime Minister even saying this stuff.

This government will drive the biggest reduction of child poverty in a single Parliament. This is how we get there.

I remember when Farage was insisting that Brexit wasn’t a racist enterprise because it would open the door to immigration from Commonwealth countries. Now that European exclusion is safely in the bag, it seems that the goalposts have moved✍️Ben Wildsmith wp.me/p8Mk4U-1a65

While this BBC article on ever-bigger SUVs is perfectly good, it's absurd the way there has to be quotes from people who insist they could not get around without a vehicle the size of a Sherman tank. It's just bollocks. I'm one of three kids and we were all ferried around in a Vauxhall Astra estate.

As history moves in circles, every time followed by a counter time & every period of hate by one of kindness & reconciliation, I remain convinced we'll move out of the storm to enter kinder, calmer waters.

No, we're don't learn from history, but we do learn from our own experience.

Extreme racism like this should not be platformed as ‘news.’

It is absolutely disgusting and another attempt to drag ‘debate’ to the right and destabilise our democracy.
